I'm Amanda, an Indianapolis-based Registered Dietitian (RD) with a love for food & nutrition communications.
Since moving to Indy in 2012 my responsibilities as a foodservice dietitian for Ball State University Dining and IPS FoodService allowed me to experience and lead projects surrounding menu design, product testing, rebranding of food concepts, marketing, social media, nutrition education, and more.
In the summer of 2018, I decided to pursue my MS in Communication, specializing in Integrated Communication and Advertising with a goal of moving into industry. In October 2018 I accepted a position with Heartland Food Products Group as the Associate Commercialization Manager for SplendaⓇ and Java HouseⓇ. I have recently moved into the role of Commercialization Manager for Java HouseⓇ, but will continue to support the SplendaⓇ brand on various projects.
I am an active member of several local and professional organizations, including The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Michigan State Alumni Association of Greater Indianapolis, Inc.
