Amanda Kruse is an award-winning Dietitian with 10 years of experience in foodservice and marketing. She is currently the Medical Marketing Brand Manager - Specialty for Reckitt/ Mead Johnson Nutrition, leading omnichannel HCP Marketing for Nutramigen and PurAmino hypoallergenic formulas. Amanda lives in Indiana with her fiancé (Zach) and dogs (Pisce & Roux) where she enjoys cooking, camping, and Yelp-ing local favorites.

EARLY CAREER
After completing her Dietetic Internship, Amanda spent time teaching nutrition, food safety, and cooking to community members in the Metro-Detroit area as a Nutrition Program Instructor with MSU Extension. She moved to Indiana in 2013, to work with Ball State Dining as their first-ever Dining Dietitian where she led wellness initiatives, food/menu labeling, food allergen management planning, and K-12 dining for Burris Laboratory School. During this time Amanda was recognized as a Rising Industry Star by Foodservice Director Magazine, received the Access Award from Ball State’s Disability Services, and was honored with the Collaboration and Innovation Award from Ball State Business affairs for her team’s work in healthy dining initiatives. She also received the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award by the IN Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. |
SCHOOL MEALS CHAMPION
In 2016 Amanda switched roles, working for Indiana's largest school district, Indianapolis Public Schools, as the Foodservice Operations Manager & Marketing Coordinator. There she worked with a team of talented school nutrition professionals to overhaul menus and re-brand operations, including the addition of The Bus Stop Café (mobile feeding), supper programs, and a growing Food Recovery program. Amanda helped reshape the reputation of IPS Foodservice through on-site events, work with local media, and professional conferences.
TRANSITION TO CPG
While pursuing her MS in Integrated Communications & Advertising, Amanda accepted a new position with Heartland Food Products group as a Commercialization Manager and later as the Associate Brand Manager, Nutrition Science and Professional Affairs, leading HCP omnichannel marketing for the Splenda Brand, Java House Cold Brew, and KETO:SWEET. Amanda played an integral role in the innovation and launch of Splenda Diabetes Care Shakes, now available nationwide.
Amanda joined Reckitt/ Mead Johnson Nutrition in 2020, supporting the Mead Johnson portfolio of Enfamil brand formulas, human milk fortifiers, and accessories on the Hospital Marketing Team. In 2022, Amanda accepted a promotion to her current role, Medical Marketing Brand Manager - Specialty (Nutramigen and PurAmino).
CURRENT LEADERSHIP ROLES
Amanda is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and serves as Chair for The Academy's Dietitians in Business & Communications DPG and past-chair of CDR’s Competency Assurance Panel. She is a past-president of the IN Academy and previously served on The Academy's Committee for Lifelong Learning, helping to select education sessions and plan the largest conference for RDs (FNCE).
Amanda Co-chairs the PoP Community Involvement Workstream at Reckitt/ Mead Johnson Nutrition, helping EVV employees connect with local organizations. In 2022, the Community Involvement workstream helped employees earn over 600 GiveTime hours through various volunteer efforts.

Amanda received her BS in Dietetics & Health Promotion from Michigan State University, completed her Dietetic Internship at Concordia College in Minnesota, and earned her MS in Communication, specializing in Integrated Communication and Advertising from Purdue University.
